What community services are planned aside from hosting? Forum? Code Share? Blog? Local freelance connections?
There are some community tools available on the site right now, if you login and look under members section.
However I have been down this road before, I used to have forums and discussion lists etc, and nobody ever used them, this was back when cf was more popular and I had many hundreds of users.
I think there already enough help resources out there such as sitepoint, stack overflow etc which people are already using.
Technically you can do code sharing simply by uploading it to your account. I have a new version of cflive.net which does have code collaboration and the ability to grab gists from github, and I will be adding the ability to save code and share links like jsfiddle, but finding the time to do this stuff is not easy.
